Hands and Digits OUT- Fonts IN
Wearable devices, especially Smartwatchs, are fun and have beautiful, colorful screens... and they are SMART. The creativity and theory behind Textile watch face started from a fundamental understanding that it is no longer necessary to show the time by hands or digits. The smartwatch screen can project vivid, colorful Images, typography, and fonts.
So NOW the watch can show or “tell” the time in words.
“Showing” or “Telling” the hour
We set two ways to view and see the time. “Showing” - the first way, represents a casual approch of saying the time. “Telling” - the seconed way, represents the English appropriete way of telling hour.

we say it’s past the hour.
we say to (the next
hour).

From jeans to silk and all other colorful fabrics available, anyone can choose what they love, and now the watch becomes an even more fashionable accessory with the ability to change its background to amazing textiles that match your style.

To celebrate fashion month, Android Wear and Paper Magazine partnered to crowdsource original designs from all over the world for the upcoming Google Android watch face collection. Our head of design Ron Navon submited an entry and... It Won!
