Digital photos into the real world

How our work with Lupa generated a friendly app to create the most amazing detailed photobooks.

Take photos, and do somthing good with it.

A bunch of photo lovers established Lupa 13 years ago, with a dream to save digital photos from the darkness of storage on phones and computers, and to publish them in print in a real and memorable book.

The digital power
to become a mini publisher

Lupa is a digital product with a full production line behind the scenes: Print house, Quality assurance, Packaging and Deliveries. To create the new app, we needed to understand the entire process of production, and it's capabilities to ensure that new approaches and ideas can be fulfilled.

Planning the new App

At first, we used and experienced the app to get to know it better. We interviewed several "hardcore" users and costumers to understand the "Ups" and "Downs" of its user experience. We created a full wishlist of new features and capabilities, together with Lupa's management level.

Exploring and defining a new approch

Our goal was to create a better user experience so that users will initiate or even accomplish creations faster and in a more focused way. For that to happen, we understood that the app should have several paths of closed loops according to user’s desire and wish, and less “open.” It’s about doing and creating, so the first thing should be focused on - “what do you want to create”?

User Exprience WireFrame Planing

The user experience planing accomplished all demands, Management level, and employees were all delighted.
Most importantly, we understood that after UI design and development, efficiency results would set new records.

User Interface

The UI design uplifted and refined the user experience plan. It was designed to be a clean environment to allow all critical information to be clear, visible, and in order.
